Made of medical-grade silicone elastomer, the implant has a flexible “hinge”-type structure with a shaft for intramedulary insertion, designed and built to afford adequate lateral stability with minimum restriction of the flexion-extension movements. It is indicated for arthroplasty of the metacarpophalangeal, proximal interphalangeal and distal interphalangeal joints.
